I have had the great pleasure of working with Kevin for near 30 years. From highlighting the smallest screwhead in a cutaway of an ocean going liner to providing more sensitive analysis, within the workings of the human anatomy, Kevin is meticulous and his work is stunning. He has a rare gift in that he instinctively understands your requirements and restrictions, supplying exactly what you want and more, on time and to budget. Kevin's versatility, expertise and common sense approach have helped us deliver results to our clients that have been of real business benefit. Without his input we would not be the business we are today.

As account manager at Alight creative agency, it is my responsibility to find the most suitable occasional freelancers to contribute to a project. I was so pleased to stumble across Kevin's portfolio; it jumped out at me immediately for being high quality, diverse and expressing a true talent and passion for what he does best.
We have worked with him on a number of projects now and have always found him to be extremely efficient, competent and a thoroughly nice chap to boot! Kevin can pick up a brief and run with it, which certainly helps to makes my life easy! His work is of a very high standard, in keeping with the high levels we expect of ourselves and we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him or using him again in the future.
Account Manager. Alight
Finally, I have a moment to thank you for the work you recently completed for us. It is such a relief to have someone capable and available to meet our illustration needs. I really appreciate that you can give us speedily what we need (even though we do not quite know what we really need until we see what we thought we needed).
Thank you for all you do.
I was born in Nairobi, Kenya in 1966 and educated in England. I studied Technical Illustration at Medway College of Design and in 1987 after a 4 year course I began my career as freelance illustrator.
Even from an early age, the things I loved drawing were related to machines, particularly aircraft and therefore I naturally developed my skills as a technical illustrator. In the early days, my work was traditionally drawn with technical pens, ellipse templates and then airbrushed but now all of my work is produced digitally. The majority are created using a combination of Cinema 4D, Photoshop and Painter as these programs allow me to produce realistic, clean and precise work to suit my style.
As my career progressed I was given broader challenges and now enjoy a wide spectrum of work that our industry offers, some samples of which can be seen in my portfolio. I have gained experience at working alongside my clients from either the Initial Conception stage, or taking an already precisely visualised brief on to the final artwork.
With all commissions, my aim is the same: to communicate my client's vision into a meaningful, concise and understandable image and to make sure they receive exactly what they have asked me to deliver as my clients satisfaction is all that matters.
Achieving these goals is also immensely satisfying for me and I am proud to say that some of my earliest client's are still using my services today. Some past and present clients include Saga, The Observer, BAPRAS, Cadburys, BP, Littlewoods, Readers Digest, Golden Vale, Ford, AA, Rentokil, ProKennex, City Link, Steeldeck and Thomson Airways. I have also worked with the fantastic people at the Kent Air Ambulance Trust, donating my artwork for their use as an aid in raising public awareness of the brilliant and essential job they all do for us in Kent.
Please take a look at my portfolio and if you are interested in finding out more about what I can offer you and your company then please get in touch, it would be great to talk to you.
